The Dayton Flyers started Atlantic 10 Conference Play strongly last night with an emphatic 84-58 road win at LaSalle. The Flyers play another Philadelphia team this Sunday when they travel down the road to face Saint Joseph’s at Hagan Arena. Can the Flyers go undefeated this season in the Atlantic 10? It’s definitely possible. Trips to VCU, Richmond, and Rhode Island will be the Flyers toughest road games and they may have a tough time at home with those same teams along with Davidson. Either way the Flyers will be a tough out come NCAA Tournament time as their only losses to date are neutral court losses to Kansas and Colorado. Look for the Flyers to be a #4 or #5 seed in the NCAA Tournament as the sky may be the limit for this team come March. Winning in March leads to one thing – a few games in April in Atlanta at the Final Four.
